My work is inspired by the beauty of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. With a studio in Canmore, Alberta, the majestic peaks of Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper are if not hours, minutes from my doorstep.

The mountains, with their imposing grandeur and serene solitude, are a recurring theme in my work. They represent both a physical challenge to find the most impressive viewpoints and journey towards inner peace. (Have you ever felt awe in the presence of a mountain? That’s what I’m trying to capture…)

Wildlife, meticulously depicted, bring a sense of life and movement to my canvases, reminding viewers of the fragile beauty and inherent value of these creatures.

Pet portraits are fun. Capturing the essence of a family pet is an honour and I’m grateful to be trusted with the task. I’ve been fortunate to have clients who allow me a wide range of creativity when depicting their pets.
